Using this command will both compact and repair your database.

This command requires that no users, including yourself, be connected to the database. If any users are connected, it will ask you to disconnect any connected users before trying again. If you have been working on a drawing in this project, it is necessary to completely close AutoCAD to disconnect from the database. The command should be run from a drawing that is not in the project, as opening a drawing in the project will connect you to the database.
Compact
When items are deleted from the database, the file size is not immediately reduced. Over the course of a project where many items are deleted, the database can become much larger than it needs to be. The compact part of this function will reduce the database to its minimum size.
Repair
It is possible for the database to become corrupt. When this occurs, you will see errors printed at the AutoCAD command line when attempting to run Design Master commands. This command will fix the errors in the database and allow Design Master to run again.
