The Insert One Line Device Block dialog box will appear, listing all the one line devices available for insertion.

Select the one line device block you want and press OK.

Design Master will ask you to specify insertion point by clicking where you want to place the device.  It will then ask you to Specify rotation angle, and let you maneuver the device into position.  Finally, it will prompt you to locate the device callout. The command is then complete. The location of the device has been stored in the database, and the distance to any connected devices or circuits has been calculated as well.

To move, rotate, or erase a one line device block, use standard AutoCAD commands. To move, rotate, or erase a one line device block label, use the Move, Rotate, or Erase Part of Device Design Master general commands. It is not possible to copy a one line device on the drawing using standard AutoCAD commands. When you attempt to do so, the copied device will automatically be erased. This will occur when using both the copy command and the mirror command. If you wish to copy a one line device, use the Copy button on the appropriate one line device dialog box. Similarly, erasing a one line device from the drawing only removes the block, it does not delete the entire device from the database in order to prevent accidental deletion of a fully circuited panel. To erase a one line device, use the Delete button on the appropriate one line device dialog.

When you change the location of a one line device, Design Master tracks the change and will adjust calculations as necessary.
