Changing a Device to a New Circuit

Top  Previous  Next

Even after a device has been circuited, changing the circuit assignment is possible within Design Master.

DM ElectricalarrowCircuiting and HomerunsarrowCircuiting

The Circuiting dialog box will appear.

Circuiting

Select the new circuit assignment by either clicking on the appropriate circuit in the list located in the middle left of the Circuiting dialog box or by changing the One Line Device using the pull-down list located in the upper left-hand area of the Circuiting dialog box. Then press Circuit Devices.

Design Master will take you to the drawing where you may select the device or devices you wish to re-circuit. When you have finished selecting devices, press space bar.

Design Master will update the database to reflect the changed circuit loads, as well as change the circuit label on the drawing. If you have recircuited devices that had the homerun and loops, the homerun and loops will disappear when they are recircuited. You will need to run the Draw Homerun and Loops command again on these devices.

Press the space bar or enter key twice if you wish to return to the Circuiting dialog box.
