Modify Circuit Label

Top  Previous  Next

When you place a device on a circuit, Design Master places a label next to the device that includes the panel name and the circuit number. Depending on the other options you have set, these labels may change or disappear altogether after further use of various Design Master features, but if they remain next to the label, the following page will help you if you wish to modify their appearance (see below)

If you wish to move, rotate, or erase a circuit label, use the Move Device Label, Rotate Device Label, and Erase Part of a Device Design Master commands.

This function allows the user to set the circuit label style on a set of selected devices.  The circuit label can be set to display the panel name and circuit number, the circuit number only, or no circuit label at all.

To modify circuit labels, go to

DM ElectricalarrowCircuiting and HomerunsarrowModify Circuit Labels

The Modify Circuit Label dialog box will appear.

modify_circuit_label

Select the desired option, and then press OK.

Draw a window around the device or devices to which the circuit label modification will be applied.

Press the ENTER key to accept the devices. Design Master will insert the appropriate label onto the drawing. The command is complete.
