Select Preferred Circuiting Direction |

Design Master's default setting is to loop devices to the nearest device that is already looped. (See the Homerun Path section for how to set which devices Design Master will loop first.) You may choose to set Design Master to loop devices preferably to others that are at a certain angle, rather than the nearest device. Design Master will allow the user to set an automatic looping orientation when using the homerun command. DM Electrical The Looping Options dialog box will appear.
Change Select Preferred Circuiting Direction from No to Yes. You may now have Design Master draw a homerun in the usual way, with the following addition. Once you have selected the device to draw the homerun and the devices to loop, Design Master will prompt the user to insert the preferred circuiting angle. To enter the preferred angle, you may input the angle numerically by typing at the AutoCAD command line or graphically by designating a direction with the mouse. Press the ENTER key when you have finished selecting the preferred angle. This command only affects the use of the Draw Homeruns and Loops command; it does not affect the Draw Homerun Only command. |
