Circuit Loads and Fixed Loads Input

Top  Previous  Next

Design Master allows you to create fixed loads on a panel that are not associated with any device on a drawing.  The program will also allow you to override many of the automatic sizing features, such as the breaker, wire, and conduit sizing.  These commands all begin the same way; go to

DM ElectricalarrowCircuiting and HomerunsarrowCircuiting

The entire Circuiting dialog box will appear; however for simplicity we will show below only the right side of the dialog box as this is the side of the box you will be working with when setting fixed loads.

All changes made inside the Circuit Loads and Fixed Loads Input section of the Circuiting dialog box must be saved manually by pressing Save Fixed, which is found at the bottom of the dialog box.

The three links below will explain in more detail the various functions of the Circuit Loads and Fixed Loads Input section.

The first customization in the Circuit Loads and Fixed Loads Input section is Changing the Number of Poles on a Circuit.

The second customization area in the Circuit Loads and Fixed Loads Input section includes Wire, Conduit, and Breaker Modifications.

The bottom half of the Circuit Loads and Fixed Loads Input section contains places to edit the Custom Fixed Load Descriptions.
