If wattage changes have been made to devices circuited to a panel, it may be necessary to recalculate the circuit loads. You may do this one circuit, one panel, all panels, or one project at a time.
Recalculating One Circuit, One Panel, or All Panels

The Circuiting dialog box will appear.
From this point on,
To recalculate a single circuit:
Click on the circuit you wish to recalculate. Press the Recalculate Selected Circuit button in the top-right corner of the dialog box.
Design Master will check the database and the drawing to update the load for the selected circuit.
To recalculate an entire panel:
Select the panel you wish to recalculate from the One Line Device pull-down menu. Press the Recalculate All Circuits button in the top right-corner of the dialog box.
Design Master will check the database and the drawing to update the circuit loads for the selected panel, but will not determine the updated load total for that panel. To update load total for an entire panel, see below.
To recalculate all panels:
Press the Recalculate Load Total button in the top-left area of the Circuiting dialog box.
Design Master will check the database and the drawing to update the load total for every panel in the drawing starting with the bottom panel and working up. This command will not cause Design Master to update the individual circuit loads. If you wish to update the circuit loads and then determine the load total for the panels, you may press Recalculate All Circuits and then Recalculate Load Total, which will update the circuit loads and panel loads for the drawing you are working in, or you may recalculate the entire project as discussed below.
Recalculating the Entire Project
Go to DM Electrical4Database Utilities4Recalculate all Circuit Loads
This command will begin a routine that checks every drawing and every record in the database to make sure each circuit contains the most recent loads. Once each circuit has been updated, the load totals on every panel will also be updated, beginning with the bottom panel and working up.
