When you wish to remove a device from a circuit, you may remove one device or one panel at a time. DM Electrical The Circuiting dialog box will appear.
Uncircuiting a Single Device Press the Uncircuit Devices button in the upper right-hand corner of the Circuiting dialog box. Design Master will take you to the drawing where you may select the devices to remove from the selected panel. When you have finished selecting devices, press the space bar. The device, or devices, will be uncircuited. On the drawing, their circuit labels and loops will be removed. You will be returned to the Circuiting dialog box. Press the Exit button to return to the drawing. Uncircuiting an Entire Panel In order to run this command accurately, make certain you have chosen the panel you wish to uncircuit. This is selected using the One Line Device pull-down list in the upper left hand portion of the Circuiting dialog box. Once you have chosen the panel you wish to uncircuit, press the Uncircuit All Connected Devices button, located in the top middle of the Circuiting dialog box. This command removes all circuited loads, including fixed loads and other panels that have been connected to this panel. This will also reset circuit breakers back to 20/1. You will receive the following warning message before Design Master carries out this command.
If you press Yes, the command will be run and you will have a clean panel. Pressing No will cancel the command.
