The Query Device command allows you to select any Design Master device and view the detailed information associated with the graphic. It will work with light fixtures, receptacles, pieces of equipment, and switches.
To find out about a device, go to

Modify DevicesQuery Device
Design Master will ask you to select a device to query. Click on the device you want to learn about.
A different dialog box will appear depending on the type of device selected. These dialog boxes allow the user to see the detailed information regarding the device and, for some types of devices, edit the definition of the device.
Light Fixture
Receptacle
Equipment
Switch
You may press OK when you are finished looking at the device.
You may also use the Query Device command to access a device so the you may edit its definition.
