To edit a one line device that has already been placed on the drawing, go to DM Electrical The Select One Line Device dialog box will open.
This dialog box shows the tree of the one line devices already placed on the drawing. You may select a one line device to edit either by left clicking on the device name on the left or the right field area. Press Expand Tree to see every one line device on the drawing, or press Collapse Tree to see the main devices. When you have selected the device you wish to edit, press OK. Changing Voltage of Existing One Line Device When a one line device is first created, it is possible to change the voltage using the Volts field in the dialog box of whichever device you are creating. This field becomes disabled in the device dialog box when you try to edit it when the one line device has a load circuited to it. In this case, you must use the Change Volts button which will be below the Volts field when the device has a load circuited to it.
Pressing the Change Volts button will display the Change Volts dialog. It lists the current voltage of the one line device and the possible voltages that it can be changed to. The listed voltages are the ones that share at least one circuit voltage in common.
When the voltage on the one line device is changed, the circuited devices are all checked for consistency. Any devices that cannot be connected to the newly selected voltage are removed. Devices that can remain connected do so. All one line devices connected to the selected one line device are disconnected. The one line device is also disconnected from the device it was connected to. These connections must be redone using the One Line Device Connections command. |
