Click on the drawing to select the device you wish to change and the Change One Line Device dialog box will appear.

From this dialog, select the one line device you wish to set the copied panel to resemble. You may choose the device from either the left box or the right box in the dialog box; both list the same devices but the left window displays them in a visual tree of their connections, while the right box displays them alphabetically.

Once you have selected a device, press OK. Design Master will automatically change the graphic and labels to match the new  device designation. Use the Update One Line Diagram command to ensure that all connections and data are displayed correctly.

Using the Change One Line Device command with AutoCAD's standard copy commands is the fastest and easiest way to quickly lay out a large one line diagram.

Insert a one line device, such as a panel, and adjust the look of the graphic until you are satisfied with it, including size and labels. Once this first panel is set, use the standard AutoCAD copy command to place a copy of the panel in the location where you wish the next one line device.

You may now use the Design Master Change One Line Device command to change the designation of the copied panel to be set to the one line device you wish to have placed there.
