To insert a receptacle, go to
DM Electrical
ReceptaclesInsert and Edit Receptacles
The Insert and Edit Receptacles dialog box will appear.
Select the receptacle type you wish to insert from the Receptacle Type list. Alternatively, click the Select From Drawing button to choose a receptacle type already inserted on the drawing.
If you wish to insert the receptacle with the definitions that you originally set when creating the schedule, press Insert New.
If you wish to change the definition of a particular receptacle as you insert it, you may do this by checking the active check boxes for the desired changes. When you have finished making definition changes, press Insert New to insert receptacles. These changes will apply to all the receptacles you insert until you press the space bar. Once you press the space bar, the receptacle definitions will revert back to the default definitions as set in the schedule.
Click on the drawing to insert a receptacle in the desired location. Click again to select the desired angle. You may click again to insert another receptacle.
When you have finished inserting receptacles of this type, press ENTER to end the command.
