Design Master User Conference 2007 Las Vegas, NV

The annual Design Master User Conference is your chance to learn new ways to use Design Master to improve your productivity. You will be the first to see some of the features in the upcoming releases of Design Master HVAC and Electrical. All attendees have the chance to earn 12 continuing education credits (hours).

Who

DM users - those who attended, please fill out and return our conference attendee survey! 

Meet other engineers and designers from around the country who also use Design Master. This is your opportunity to receive and share ideas about how to make the most of the software with other users who are actively using the software.

DM staff

We will be there, teaching classes and leading feedback sessions. You may have seen our picture or read about us; now is your chance to meet us in person.

Skill Improvement Tracks (SITs)

SITs classes will be held all day Monday as well as Tuesday morning. All classes will feature hands-on training using Design Master HVAC and Electrical. It is recommended that you bring a laptop loaded with Design Master to the conference so that you are able to follow along.

Continuing Education Credits

You may earn 8 continuing education credits (hours) for Monday's SITs and 4 continuing education credits (hours) for Tuesday's SITs.

Design Master Plumbing Debut: Receive a brief overview of the capabilities of Design Master's newest offering; Design Master Plumbing, given by our lead developer himself.

3D Architectural Coordination: Hear, from a local architect, how Design Master can currently integrate with 3D work being done by architects.

Material Takeoffs & Cost Estimating: Learn how Design Master eases material takeoffs and cost estimating according to electrical estimators.

Electrical SITs

Electrical Feeder & Service Calculations: Take advantage of all Design Master has to offer, and fully understand where Design Master's calculations results are coming from.

New Electrical Features: Be the first to see and test-drive the next release of Design Master Electrical. Get a jump start on learning about some of the new features that we are adding to help make you more productive.

Egress Photometrics: Many jurisdictions are requiring point-by-point calculations for egress lighting path. Learn about how the next release of Design Master Electrical will help you demonstrate compliance with these requirements.

Future Development Forum: Discuss the future direction of Design Master Electrical. Bring your wish list and let us know what features you would like to see!

HVAC SITs

New HVAC Features & Plumbing Discussion: Be the first to see and test-drive the next release of Design Master HVAC. Get a jump start on learning about some of the new features that we are adding to help make you more productive. Spend more time than was available in the morning presentation learning about the new DM Plumbing. Share with us which features you want to see included in the coming Plumbing release.

HVAC Load Calculations: The last release of Design Master HVAC saw the addition of ASHRAE 62, psychrometrics,  plenums, load maps, and a redesigned output. Learn all the ins-and-outs of our load calculations.

Future Development Forum: Discuss the future direction of Design Master HVAC. Bring your wish list and let us know what features you would like to see!

Practical HVAC 3D Coordination with Architectural Models: Learn the how-to of all that was discussed in the morning presentation, so you can take full advantage of Design Master on your own projects!

New Release First Look

When you arrive at the conference, we will be loading versions of the upcoming releases of Design Master HVAC and Electrical and the brand-new Design Master Plumbing on your laptop for you. All of the SITs will be taught using this first version of the new software, giving you the chance to train on it without the constant pressure of deadlines. You will be the first customers to see and use the new software, giving you a special opportunity to offer immediate feedback that we can incorporate for the beta and final releases.
