This section describes the options available in the One-Line Diagram group in the Design Master Electrical Options dialog box.
Display lugs on panels with main breakers: This option specifies whether or not lugs are displayed on panels with main breakers.
This options does not change whether or not the lugs exist on the panel, only whether they are displayed.
Include breaker graphics on feeder wires: This option specifies whether breaker graphics are included by default on feeder wires. This option is used only when the feeders are first inserted on the one-line diagram.
After the feeder is inserted on the one-line diagram, the DM Electrical->One-Line Diagram->Edit One-Line Feeder Graphics command can be used to turn the breaker graphics on or off.
Include bus in default panel graphic: This option specifies whether or not the default block selection for panels includes a bus or not. The setting can be changed before inserting the panel on the one-line diagram.
After the panel is inserted on the one-line diagram, use theand to control the display of the bus on panels.
Extra length on feeders: This is the extra length of wire included in feeder lengths to account for the wire used for panel connections. It is used in the fault calculation, voltage drop calculation, and takeoffs. See the section for more information on specifying this length.
Ignore extra length on feeders shorter than this: The calculated distance between two panels includes an additional length of wire to account for terminating the wires. The additional wire is not necessary for panels that are close to each other and the extra length will be ignored when it is shorter than this specified value. See the section for more information on specifying this length.
Feeder ID block: The block used for feeder IDs.
