Query One-Line Labels

The Query One-Line Labels command is used to insert, edit, and remove the labels on one-line devices, feeder wires, and equipment connections in the one-line diagram.

To insert and modify one-line labels, go to

DM Electrical->One-Line Diagram->Query One-Line Labels

You will be prompted to select the one-line device label to edit.

Select one-line entity to edit:

Select the one-line device, feeder wire, or equipment connection to be labeled. The Edit One-Line Device Labels dialog box will appear.

Checkbox: Whether or not a label corresponding to the row is inserted on the drawing.

Field: A description of the value that will be inserted.

Prefix: Text that is added prior to the value associated with the field in the database.

Suffix: Text that is added after to the value associated with the field in the database.

Value: The text that will appear on the drawing. It includes the prefix, the value from the database, and the suffix. The prefix and suffix can be changed in this dialog box. The value from the database must be changed in the device definition itself.

Press OK when you are finished changing the notes for the one-line device, feeder wire, or equipment connection. Any labels that were removed or changed will be updated on the drawing.

You will be prompted to insert any new labels on the drawing.

Select insertion point for <Field>:

The field corresponding to the label will be listed in the command prompt. Continue inserting labels until they are all on the drawing.
