Import from Another Database

Used to import feeder IDs in another project to the current project. This button can be used to copy an entire schedule or a single ID. This button allows you to reuse feeder IDs in new projects.
When you press this button, the Select Database to Import From dialog box will appear and prompt you to select the project from which the feeder IDs will be imported.

Select the database from which to import. You must select a Design Master Electrical RT database. The database must be updated to the most current version. If it is not, you will be prompted to open a drawing in the project to convert the database. After it is updated, you will then be able to import from it.
After you select the database, the Import Record from Another Project dialog box will appear and prompt you to select the feeder IDs to import.

Current Group: The group in the other project schedule from which the feeder IDs will be imported.
Select Group: Press this button to select a new group from which to import feeder IDs.
Import Entire Group: Press this button to import all of the feeder IDs from the Current Group to the project.
New feeder IDs will be created in the project for each ID being imported. If an ID already exists in the current schedule, the information will be overwritten.
You will be prompted if you want to delete all of the existing feeder IDs in the project schedule.
Record List: The list of feeder IDs in the Current Group. Select the IDs to import from this list. You can select multiple IDs using the SHIFT and CTRL keys.
Create New Record in Schedule: Select this option to create a new feeder ID in the project schedule for each ID being imported. If an ID already exists in the current schedule, the information will be overwritten.
Update Current Record in Schedule: Select this option to update the current feeder ID in the project schedule with the information from the selected ID in the other project. All of the information in the project schedule will be overwritten.
