Feeder IDs

Allows you to customize the feeder IDs available to be used on the one-line diagram.

See the General Customization Commands section for more information about how the Edit Project List and Edit Master List commands work.

To edit the feeder ID project schedule, go to

Ribbon: DMERT: Customization->Project Customization->Feeder IDs

Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical RT->Customization->Feeder IDs->Edit Project List

To edit the feeder ID master schedule, go to

Ribbon: DMERT: Customization->Master & Standards Customization->Feeder IDs

Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical RT->Customization->Feeder IDs->Edit Master List

The Edit Project List command opens the Feeder ID Project Schedule dialog box. The Edit Master List command opens the Feeder ID Master Schedule dialog box.

Current Group: The active feeder ID group. All of the IDs that are created and modified will be associated with this group.

Select Group: Press this button to open the Feeder ID Groups dialog box. In addition to allowing you to select a new group, the Groups dialog box also allows you to create and modify the groups.

Move to Another Group: Press this button to open a list of available groups to which the feeder ID can be moved.

Rename: Press this button to rename the displayed feeder ID in the schedule. Any labels on the drawing will be updated.

Find: Press this button to select a feeder ID from a list of all of the IDs in the schedule. The feeder ID you select will be displayed in the dialog box, allowing you to view and modify it.

Previous: Press this button to select and display the previous feeder ID in the schedule. The previous feeder ID is determined by sorting the entries in the schedule alphabetically. If you press this button when viewing the first feeder ID, it will wrap to the ending and display the last ID.

Next: Press this button to select and display the next feeder ID in the schedule. The next feeder ID is determined by sorting the entries in the schedule alphabetically. If you press this button when viewing the last feeder ID, it will wrap back to the beginning and display the first ID.

Feeder ID: The name of the feeder ID. This will be displayed when the feeder ID is inserted on a drawing.

Feeder Callout: The full callout of the feeder.

Ampacity: The ampacity of the feeder.

Edit Schedule Settings: Press this button to open the Create Feeder ID Schedule Settings dialog box.

If the feeder schedule is not currently set to display any of the information set in the the Feeder ID Schedule Settings dialog box, a warning dialog box will appear with instructions on how to change the display settings. See the Insert Feeder Schedule section for more information.

Save: Press this button to save any changes made to the displayed feeder ID. If you make changes and do not press this button, you will be prompted to save your changes before selecting a new feeder ID or closing the schedule dialog box.

Delete: Press this button to delete the displayed feeder ID from the schedule.

Delete Multiple: Press this button to remove multiple feeder IDs from the schedule. A dialog box will appear showing the list of feeder IDs.

Select the feeder IDs to delete. You can select multiple items in the list using the SHIFT or CTRL keys. Press the OK button to remove them from the schedule.

Create Feeder IDs: Press this button to open the Create Feeder ID dialog box. Available only in the Feeder ID Project Schedule dialog box.
