|Up Previous Next|
These values are displayed when the Device Type is set to Branch circuit device: Equipment connection.
Family Edit: Branch circuit device: Equipment connection
The settings for the family. The values set in this top grid are used unless they are overridden by settings in the bottom Type Settings grid.
Device Type: The type of electrical device. Each type has different values that can be set. Displayed here are the settings for Branch circuit device: Equipment connection.
Circuit Description: The description that will be displayed on circuits that this device is connected to.
Load: The load defined on the connectors in the family. This value is read-only and connect be changed in this command. Modify the values in the connectors to change this value.
Show on One-Line Diagram: Whether or not the equipment should be shown on the one-line diagram. This setting can be overriden for each instance using the command.
FLA / BCSC: The full load amps or branch circuit selection current. Branch circuit selection current is used to size the breaker and wires for motor-compressors (see NEC 440.22 (A) and (C), NEC 440.32 and 33). Full load amps is used to size breakers for motors (see NEC 430.52).
MCA: The minimum circuit amps. Used to size wires for multimotors (see NEC 440.35).
MOCP: The maximum overcurrent protection. Used to size the breaker for motor-compressors (see NEC 440.22(A) and (C)).
Breaker Size: How to size the breaker for the branch circuit the equipment is connected to.
Wire Size: How to size the conductors for the branch circuit the equipment is connected to.
Motor Multiplier: The multiplier applied to the motor load when it is used during fault calculations.
Motor X/R Ratio: The X/R ratior of the motor load when is is used during fault calculations.
The settings for specific types in the family. Values set here override the values set in the top Family Settings grid.
Override Circuit Description: Whether or not to override the circuit description set in the Family Settings grid for this family type.
Override Equipment Values: Whether or not to override the equipment connection values set in the Family Settings grid for this family type.
