Installing for the First Time

These instructions are for customers who are installing Design Master Plumbing for the first time.

Step 1 - Download the Files

Download and run the Design Master Plumbing install file.

If you are also running Design Master Electrical or Design Master HVAC, all three programs should be installed to the same folder.

If more than one person in your office is running Design Master Plumbing, we recommend you select a shared network folder for the install location.

Step 2 - Install the License File

Your license file will be emailed to you. If you have not received it, contact us and we will send you one.

Extract the license file to the folder where you installed Design Master Plumbing.

Step 3 - Configure AutoCAD on This Computer

Open AutoCAD. Open install.dwg that is located in the Admin folder where you installed Design Master Plumbing.

Type APPLOAD at the command line. Select plumb-loadInAutoCAD.vlx and press the Load button. Then press the Close button.  

Step 4 - Configure Other Computers

These instructions are only necessary if you are running Design Master Plumbing on more than one computer.

Download the Design Master Components file. Run it once on each computer.

Open AutoCAD. Open install.dwg . It is located in the Admin folder where you installed Design Master Plumbing.

Type APPLOAD at the command line. Select plumb-loadInAutoCAD.vlx and press the Load button. Then press the close button.
