Creating Panels with a Common Appearance

Saturday, October 9th, 2010

You often want multiple panels on your one-line diagram to look the same. They should be the same size and have their labels in the same location.

To accomplish this, first create one panel that looks correct. Set the size of the box right, locate the bus bar where it belongs, and insert all the necessary labels.

Then, make a copy of this panel for all of the other panels that you want to appear the same. Use the “DM Electrical->One-Line Diagram->Change” command. Select the copied panel and choose the new panel that this should represent. Continue this process for the other panels in the project.

Once you have the panels created, use the “DM Electrical->One-Line Diagram->Update” command. This will insert the feeders to all the panels you created.
