Lining Up Labels on the One-Line Riser Diagram

Friday, October 8th, 2010

Lining up the labels on a one-line riser diagram can be difficult. To simplify this, we have implemented a special END osnap setting on labels.

First, you need to insert one label on the drawing using standard AutoCAD commands to locate it properly.

Then, when the END osnap is active (either because you have snaps turn on, or you typed END at the command line while inserting or moving a label), you can move over a one-line device label and the cursor will snap to a location below the selected label.

You can select this location while inserting the label the first time, or you can move the label using the top-left grip.
