Export Load Calculations to Excel

Wednesday, December 1st, 2010

To export load calculations to Excel, use the Print Load Calculations command.

Ribbon: DM HVAC->Load Calculations->  Print Load Calculations

Pulldown Menu: DM HVAC->Load Calculations->Print Load Calculations

When the HVAC building load calculations are printed, an HTML file is created in the project folder. This HTML file is intended for printing, but can be used to view the output in Excel. The file will be named “dm_hvac-loadsX.html.” It can be opened with Excel.

The file is overwritten whenever the loads are printed. If you want to make changes to the file or use it for any future purposes, make a copy of it. Otherwise, you risk losing the file if the loads are printed again in the future.
