Room Schedules (Project and Master)

Top  Previous  Next

Design Master includes a list of room types with associated definitions useful for calculating indoor foot candle levels.  To create a new room type, you may add a new room type to a specific project or you may add a new room type to the master database, which can then be used by all projects.

To create a new room type, go to

DM ElectricalarrowBuilding DefinitionarrowRoom Project Schedule

The Room Lighting Design Criteria Schedule dialog box will appear.

The only difference between the Schedule dialog box discussed above and the Master dialog box is the Import from button at the bottom of the dialog box. When the Schedule dialog box is open, this button imports room definitions from the Master Schedule, and when the Master dialog box is open, this button imports room definitions from the Project Schedule. Each is labeled as such depending on which dialog box is open. See Importing from Another Database and Importing from Master Database for the differences in the function of these buttons.
