Customization

All of the blocks, layers, and text styles displayed by Design Master can be customized to match your company's existing standards.  Along with maintaining the established appearance of your drawings, the customization tools allow you to control numerous calculations performed by the software and create a standard method of design within your firm.

Customization for each project is stored in the project database, and changes to the project customization are made using the various Edit Project List commands.  

A master list of customizations can be created, which can be copied to individual projects when they are initially set up. To edit the master customization settings, use the Edit Master List commands.

To transfer customization settings from an individual project to the master or vice versa, use the Copy Project List to Master and the Copy Master List to Project commands.
