Design Master allows you to choose if you want to display tick marks on homeruns or not. As a default, Design Master will place tick marks on all homeruns that use wire size #12.
To change whether or not tick marks are drawn on wire size #12 homeruns, go to

Expand the Homerun Options section of the Design Master Electrical Options dialog box.
Go to the Display tick marks on homeruns line. Under the Value column, use the pulldown menu (see below picture) to select Yes or No. Then press OK. (Even if this option is set to No, you may still insert tick marks manually using the Insert Tick Marks command.)
All new homeruns will be drawn according to your new customization settings. Any existing homeruns will need to be redrawn to reflect the new customization settings.
