Setting the Receptacle Circuit Count Limit

Top  Previous  Next

Design Master will aid in your circuiting efforts by alerting you when a certain number of receptacles have been placed on a single circuit.  Design Master will not stop you from exceeding the specified limit, but it will let you know when you have gone above it.  The receptacle count limit is a user-defined setting, and may be changed as many times during the design process as necessary.

To set a maximum limit for receptacles on a circuit, open the Design Master Electrical Options dialog box.

DM ElectricalarrowCustomizationarrowOptionsarrowEdit Project List

Expand the Miscellaneous section of the Design Master Electrical Options dialog box.

options_receptlimit

Select the Receptacle Circuit Count Limit line, and then type in the desired limit in the value column.

Press OK.

This change will not affect receptacles already circuited, however, when circuiting additional receptacles, Design Master will display a warning when the receptacle limit is exceeded.

Press OK to continue circuiting.

Note: Setting this limit will not actually stop you from adding more than a certain number of receptacles to a circuit, it will only warn you that you have exceeded the limit.
