If you do not want to change the definition of a light fixture, but instead want to change only a certain number of light fixtures already inserted on a drawing, follow the instructions below.

Select the light fixtures you wish to change on the drawing, and then press ENTER.
The Change Light Fixture Type dialog box will appear.
Choose the light fixture to replace the selected fixtures.
Press OK.
Design Master will change the selected light fixtures to the new type both on the drawing and in the database.
Design Master will update all features of a light fixture possible. However, if the voltage is changed after a light fixture has been circuited, Design Master will uncircuit the devices and the user must re-circuit them manually. If you cannot recall whether the old and new light fixtures have the same voltage or not, you can know if manual recircuiting is necessary by noting whether the circuiting loops and homeruns are still present on the drawing or not.
Additionally, if callouts have been inserted as separate entities from the light fixtures, they will not change with the light fixture. You will need to erase and reinsert them.
