Coordinate Light Fixtures with Diffusers

To coordinate the light fixtures on the electrical drawing with the diffusers on a separate HVAC drawing for the same project, go to

DM ElectricalLight FixturesDiffuser Coordination Coordinate Light Fixture with Diffusers

The Select HVAC Database to Transfer Diffuser From dialog box will open.

Select the dm_hvac.dm drawing from the project you are working in and press Open. You will then see the Diffuser Coordination dialog box (see below).  Press OK. Design Master will insert the diffusers from the database chosen into the electrical database and these will be displayed on the electrical drawing.  The command is complete. 

If you have previously coordinated the diffusers, or if you have an HVAC database opened, when you select DM ElectricalLight FixturesDiffuser Coordination Coordinate Light Fixture with Diffusers you will see the following dialog box rather than the Select HVAC Database to Transfer Diffuser From dialog box. 

Press yes.  You will then see the Diffuser Coordination dialog box as described above and the procedure is the same from then on. 

If you decide you do not want the diffusers coordinated, there are two options. If Design Master is still importing the diffusers from an HVAC drawing, you may hit Esc and the function will cease. If the command has finished, you will need to erase the coordination diffusers.
