Insert Light Fixture Project Schedule

Design Master can create a schedule showing several different fields containing information about the light fixtures in the project schedule.

Checking Show Unused Light Fixtures will cause Design Master to list the information for light fixtures that are in the Light Fixture Project Schedule database but have not been inserted in the project. Notes typed into the Schedule Notes field will appear underneath the schedule on the drawing. These notes may be as long as needed. If you decide that the default schedule layout is fine, or if you have previously edited the schedule layout and do not need to make further changes, press OK. Otherwise press Edit Column Labels and Order. The Light Fixture Schedule Label Display and Order dialog box will open.

This dialog box allows you to customize how you want the schedule to appear on the drawing. Each row of the dialog box will become a column in the schedule on the drawing. You may select which information you want to display by checking or un-checking in the boxes in the "Display" column. You may change the width of the columns in the drawing schedule by double-left clicking on the width cell in the dialog box and changing the value. You may change the label that will be at the head of each column in the drawing schedule by double-left clicking on the label cell in the dialog box and typing your desired label.

Schedule Title	The title of the schedule
Callout	The name of the light fixture
Symbol	The graphic block used to represent the light fixture
Lamp	The number of lamps in the fixture (also shows any information that may have been entered in the Lamp field when creating the light fixture)
Description	The information entered in the Description field when creating the light fixture
Ballast	The type of ballast used
Mounting	The mounting of the light fixture
Input Watts	Watts input of the fixture including the ballast, if applicable
Volts	Voltage of the fixture (not necessarily the lamp if low voltage)
Notes	A note on the luminaire schedule attached to the light fixture for further clarification
Quantity	The quantity of each light fixture in the project. Be aware that this may include fixtures not shown on the plans if alternate fixture layouts were created but not plotted.
Move Up	Moves a row up in the display order (left on the schedule graphic in the drawing)
Move Down	Moves a row up in the display order (left on the schedule graphic in the drawing)

After all desired labels and categories have been set, press the OK button. Design Master will ask for an insertion point for the schedule. Select a location for the upper left-hand corner of the schedule. (If you are re-inserting a schedule, press enter and Design Master will replace the existing schedule with the new one, using the same insertion point as was used previously.) Design Master will insert the Light Fixture Project Schedule into the drawing and the command is complete.

Design Master does not automatically update the Light Fixture Project Schedule graphic after additions or changes to light fixtures are made. To update or move the schedule after placing it, you must re-insert it using this same process. You do not need to delete the old schedule, as Design Master will automatically erase the old one when re-inserting a new one.

Each time you insert a Light Fixture Project Schedule graphic into the drawing, Design Master will assume that you wish to have the same labels and categories that were used previously in that drawing. This can be changed as discussed above whenever the schedule is re-inserted.

If you have manually inserted graphics, such as revision clouds, over the schedule graphic, always be certain to check their location after updating the schedule.

Another way to edit the labels and categories included in the Light Fixture Project Schedule graphic is to use the Edit Light Fixture Schedule Project List command under customization.
