Insert Lighting Group Vertex |

Once you have drawn a lighting group area, you may need to add a point to the shape you used to draw the area. To do this, go to DM Electrical Design Master will prompt you to provide the "First fence point crossing lighting group boundary". This may be any point either inside or outside the lighting group area. Design Master will then prompt you to provide the "Second boundary point". This is any point on the opposite side of the lighting group area boundary that crosses the boundary at the exact point where you wish to insert a new vertex. Once you have provided both points, there will be a new vertex on the area boundary where you indicated. In addition, Design Master will create a new vertex at the halfway point between the new vertex and the old vertices. Once a new vertex is inserted on an area boundary it may be moved using the method described below. Moving a Vertex on a Lighting Group Boundary To move a vertex on a boundary, select the boundary. Blue grips will appear at each corner and break in the room outline. Click on the vertex you want to move, and drag it into the new location. You may wish to use AutoCAD Snaps to increase accuracy. If you wish to move the information box regarding the lighting group area, select the box or boundary whose box you wish to move. Use the grip at the top left corner of the box to move it. You may use the grip nearest the box to move the placement of the leader arrow. |
