Remove Lighting Group Vertex

Top  Previous  Next

To remove a point from the shape you used to draw the lighting group area, go to

DM ElectricalarrowLighting GroupsarrowRemove Lighting Group Vertex

Design Master will prompt you to provide the "First crossing point around lighting group vertex to move". This may be any point around the vertex you wish to remove. Design Master will then prompt you to provide the "Second crossing point". This is any point that causes a crossing window to be drawn around the vertex you wish to remove. Once you have provided both points, the vertex will disappear from the lighting group boundary if it was inserted individually by the user. Vertices created by Design Master as halfway points between new and old vertices cannot be removed in this manner; they will be automatically removed when the "new" vertex that caused their creation is removed.

Moving a Vertex on a Lighting Group Boundary

To move a vertex on a boundary, select the boundary. Blue grips will appear at each corner and break in the room outline. Click on the vertex you want to move, and drag it into the new location. You may wish to use AutoCAD Snaps to increase accuracy.

If you wish to move the information box regarding the lighting group area, select the box or boundary whose box you wish to move. Use the grip at the top left corner of the box to move it. You may use the grip nearest the box to move the placement of the leader arrow.
