To change the definition of an individual low voltage device, you may use the Design Master Query Device command. To move, copy, rotate, mirror, array, or erase a low voltage device, use standard AutoCAD commands. To edit multiple low voltage devices at one time, go to DM Electrical You will be taken to the drawing and prompted to select all the low voltage devices you wish to edit from the drawing. Click to select them, then press ENTER. The Edit Multiple Low Voltage Devices dialog box will appear.
There is a check box next to each possible field that you can modify. Definitions that are identical between the two devices will have an inactive check box. Some of the fields have multiple check boxes. The first active check box is used to indicate that the value will be modified. The second is used to indicate whether or not to override the schedule value. For example, if you want to add a new drawing note to the selected low voltage devices, you would check the second check box (first active check box) and enter the new note in the box to the right:
Press OK when all desired changes are complete. Design Master will update both the drawing and the database to reflect the changes made. |
