To create a second standards database, to copy, rename, or delete a standards database when you already have two databases, or to create a third or more standards database, go to DM Electrical If only one standards database exists when you run the Manage Standards Database command, Design Master will first display a dialog box stating there is only one database and giving you the option to create another standards database (see below).
If you press No, the command will be finished. If you press Yes, you will see the Standards Database dialog box as shown below. Type in the name of the new database and press OK. You will see a dialog box stating that a new standards database has been created. Press OK. You will be taken to the Select Standards Database dialog box (see below). If more than one standards database exists when you run the Manage Standards Database command, the Select Standards Database dialog box will appear.
To copy, rename, or delete a standards database, press the appropriate button. To create a third standards database, press Copy Selected Standards Database. You may then wish to rename one of the databases so as not to confuse the two.
