Edit One Line Feeder Graphics

Top  Previous  Next

Design Master defaults to showing disconnects along feeders as circuit breakers, but you may also use fused or non-fused disconnects or fused or non-fused switches. You can insert these disconnecting devices at three points along a feeder; at the start, the end, or the OCP device depending on the definition of the device as it was created.

To insert or change the graphics of a feeder disconnect, go to

DM ElectricalarrowOne Line DiagramarrowEdit One Line Feeder Graphics

Select the feeder you wish to work with by clicking on it on the drawing and hit the Enter key. The Edit One Line Feeder Graphics dialog box will appear.

Under OCP Block, Block at Start of Feeder, and Block at End of Feeder, the available options for the feeder disconnect are listed. Selecting No Change will leave the block in its current state. Selecting No Block will remove the disconnect block from the feeder entirely. Set each column to the desired disconnect type and press OK. Design Master will take you to the drawing, where it will have updated the feeder graphics to your specifications.

To move or change the shape of a one line feeder, use the AutoCAD grips function.  Click on the feeder, then select a grip and move it into the new position.  Design Master will trim and move the feeder lines for you. (see below pictures for example)

To erase a feeder line, use the AutoCAD erase command.
