One line devices and feeders are not included in the quantities in the takeoff area on your drawing. To perform a takeoff of these items, select: DM Electrical The program will automatically generate an HTML file with the takeoff information and display it within your web browser, as shown below. The one line devices will be sorted by types. All devices of each type will be grouped together. Breakers are listed twice, once with the device they are associated with, and once in a separate section that totals all of the breakers in the project. The breaker quantities do not include main disconnect breakers. Those are listed separately as part of the one line device description. The project totals are grouped by voltage and AIC rating. Feeders are also listed twice, once with the device they are associated with, and once in a total for the project. The length of the feeder serving each device is listed with each device. The feeder length is labeled as either being calculated or fixed. Feeder lengths labeled Calculated were calculated by the software based upon the location of the one line devices on the drawings. Feeder lengths labeled Fixed were input directly by the user and are not based upon the drawings at all. Feeder lengths are always calculated using right-angles. They do not use the building orientation settings set in the Set Looping Options command like circuits do. The following graphics show some samples of one line device takeoff information and the format it is put into. Panels
