Once you have created a takeoff area you may perform the actual takeoff. To perform a takeoff, select:
DM Electrical
Takeoff CalculationsPrint Takeoff Area
You will be prompted to Specify point inside takeoff area:
Specify a point inside the area where you want to do a takeoff.
If you specify a point inside of two or more takeoff areas, the Select Takeoff Area dialog box will appear. Select the takeoff area you wish to work with and press OK.
The program will automatically generate an HTML file with the takeoff information and display it within your web browser, as shown below.
Circuit lengths are calculated using the current building angle settings in the Set Looping Options command. For more more information about these settings, see the Voltage Drop Calculation Parameters section.
