Circuiting Switched Devices

Top  Previous  Next

Circuiting devices that are on a switch group is the same as circuiting non-switched devices, with the following exception.

Begin the circuiting routine as you normally would.

When the program asks you to select objects to circuit, select a switch or device in the group you wish to circuit.

Press the space bar and the program will add every device on that switch or in that switch group to the circuit.

Design Master will also include the switch on the circuit for looping and homerun drawing purposes. You may even draw the homerun from the switch itself.

This allows you to avoid searching for every device on a switch during the circuiting process. It also eliminates the chance that you will forget to include a device on a circuit.
