In order to show that certain devices are assigned to a specific switch group, Design Master allows you to assign a switch to a group and then connect that switch to devices (light fixtures, equipment, and receptacles) such that grouping data is shared between the devices.
To connect one or more devices to a switch, go to
DM Electrical
SwitchesConnect Device to Switch Group
Design Master will prompt you to select a switch. Click on the switch you want to connect to.
You will then be asked to select the objects you wish to connect to the switch. Click on all the devices you want to connect to the switch.
Press the space bar to end the command.
A label will be added to each device that was selected. The label will indicate the switch group of that particular device.
