To insert a switch on a drawing, go to
DM Electrical
SwitchesInsert Switch
The Insert Switch dialog box will appear.
Select the type of switch graphic you wish to use for the switch.
Use the fields below to define the switch you wish to insert.

The name of the associated group for the switch. |
Subscript |
Location for other information associated with the switch. (i.e. 3-way, dimmer, etc.) |
Layer System |
Determines what layer the new switch will be inserted on |
Once the switch is defined, press Insert.
Select the insertion point and then provide an orientation angle for the switch.
You may continue inserting switches with the same definition, or press the space bar to finish the command.
