To insert receptacles on the drawing, go to
DM Electrical Receptacles Insert Receptacle
You will be taken to the Insert Receptacle dialog box as shown below.
From the Receptacle Type list, choose DUPLEX (as shown above.) Press OK. Specify the insertion point and rotation angle of the receptacle. After inserting the receptacle, you will be prompted to insert more receptacles of the same type. When you are done inserting receptacles, press ENTER to end the command.
Insert four Duplex receptacles in Office 104 to match the drawing shown below. The receptacles can be inserted using the Insert Receptacle command or copied using the AutoCAD copy command. Receptacles can be moved and erased using the standard AutoCAD move and erase commands.
Using the method described above, insert four Duplex receptacles in Office 104 as shown in the drawing below.
Insert six GFCI receptacles in the Lobby to match the drawing shown below.
After specifying the rotation angle, Design Master Electrical will display the "GFCI" label. Specify the location of the label near the receptacle. Design Master Electrical will then prompt you to insert more receptacles of the same type.
Insert one Quad receptacle each in Offices 105 and 107 as shown in the drawing below.
Now that you have receptacles inserted on the drawing, you may want to insert a receptacle schedule.
