Any transitions between sizes are symmetrical. For most ducts, this is what you want, which is why it is the default, but there are times when you want to insert eccentric fittings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-322\" title=\"eccentric-transition\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designmaster.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/eccentric-transition.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"292\" height=\"103\"><\/p>\n<p>Design Master HVAC handles this using the \u201cHorizontal Alignment\u201d and \u201cVertical Alignment\u201d settings in the ductwork. Using these settings, the duct \u201ccenterline\u201d can become the left or right edge of the ductwork.
