To edit indoor lighting level schedule project settings, go to Ribbon: DME: Customization->Project Customization-> Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical->Customization->Labels and Schedules->Project List->Edit Indoor Lighting Level Schedule Project List To edit indoor lighting level schedule standards settings, go to Ribbon: DME: Customization->Master & Standards Customization-> Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical->Customization->Labels and Schedules->Standards and Master Lists->Edit Indoor Lighting Level Schedule Standards List Indoor Lighting Level Schedule Label Display and Order Dialog Box See the Common Label and Schedule Information section for more information about using the Move Up and Move Down buttons and the Key, Label, Width, and Display fields. Values in the Key column are listed alphabetically below. Area: The area of the room in square feet. Ceiling Height: The height of the ceiling for the room in feet. CU: The coefficient of utilization of the room. This value includes the coefficient of utilization for the light fixtures and all depreciation factors. CU = Coefficient of Utilization * Lamp Depreciation * Dirt Depreciation Dirt Depreciation Factor: The factor by which the photometric calculations are reduced due to dirt in the room. Effective Ceiling Cavity Reflectance: The reflective value of the ceiling in the room type. See the Edit Rooms and Room Project Schedule sections for more information. Effective Floor Cavity Reflectance: The reflective value of the floor in the room type. See the Edit Rooms and Room Project Schedule sections for more information. FC Actual: The actual lighting level in the room, measured in foot-candles. FC Actual = Total Lumens * Coefficient of Utilization * Lamp Depreciation * Dirt Depreciation / Area Total Lumens: The total lumens for all of the light fixtures in the room. The light fixtures in the room are based upon the light fixtures inserted on the drawing. The lumens for each light fixture is based upon the Number of Lamps and Lumens / Lamp values set in the Light Fixture Project Schedule. Coefficient of Utilization: If the IES file associated with the light fixture callout is well-formed, it can be used to calculate the coefficient of utilization. It is based upon the IES file (see the Light Fixture Project Schedule section for more information), the room cavity ratio based upon the room outline inserted on the drawing, and the Wall Cavity Reflectance, Effective Ceiling Cavity Reflectance, and Effective Floor Cavity Reflectance (see the Edit Rooms and Room Project Schedule sections for more information). If the IES file is not well-formed and cannot be used to calculate the coefficient of utilization, or there is no IES file, then a default value of 0.7 is used. Lamp Depreciation: See the Light Fixture Project Schedule sections for more information. Dirt Depreciation: See the Edit Rooms and Room Project Schedule sections for more information. Area: The area of the room based upon the room outline inserted on the drawing. FC Desired: The desired lighting level for the room, measured in foot-candles. The value is specified in the room itself or in the room type. See the Edit Rooms section for more information. LPD Actual: The actual watts per square foot in the room. Based upon the total watts for all of the fixtures in the room divided by the room area. LPD Allowed: The watts per square foot allowed in the room specified in the room project schedule. See the Edit Rooms and Room Project Schedule sections for more information. RCR: The room cavity ratio of the room. RCR = (Ceiling Height - Workspace Height) * Perimeter * 2.5 / Area Ceiling Height: See the Edit Rooms and Floor List sections for more information. Workspace Height: See the Edit Rooms and Room Project Schedule sections for more information. Perimeter: The perimeter of the room based upon the room outline inserted on the drawing. Area: The area of the room based upon the room outline inserted on the drawing. Room Number: The number of the room. Room Type: The type of room, taken from the room project schedule. See the Edit Rooms and Room Project Schedule sections for more information. Total Watts: The total watts for all of the fixtures in the room. Wall Cavity Reflectance: The reflective value of the walls in the room type. See the Edit Rooms and Room Project Schedule sections for more information. Workspace Height: The elevation of the workspace above the floor level in feet. |
