Feeder Length Calculation

The feeder length between distribution equipment can either be input by the user or calculated based upon the location of the distribution equipment on the drawing.

Feeder length can be calculated using two methods:

When the length is calculated, the difference in elevation is included based upon the alignment point area elevation or floor elevation. An additional length is added to account for the wire needed to make the connection to the distribution equipment. The user can specify this value using the Feeder make-up option. See the Distribution Equipment options section for more information about how to set this value.
