Customization
The Customization panel appears on the FireBIM Design tab and FireBIM Riser tab when you have a project open in Revit. It includes commands for customizing the settings used by FireBIM.
Commands
📄️ User Options
Allows you to customize settings that are specific to you. These settings are stored on your computer, not in the project.
📄️ Project Options
Allows you to control the output of FireBIM to match your preferred standards.
📄️ Cable Types
Allows you to create and modify cable sizes and cable size groups.
📄️ Circuit Types
Allows you to customize the circuit types available to be used for circuits. Circuit types inform the graphics and labels used when circuits are inserted on the riser diagram, as well as the cable types and sizes used in labels and during voltage drop calculations.
📄️ Riser Diagram Device Graphics
Allows you to customize the list of graphic families available to be used for devices on the riser diagram.
📄️ Riser Diagram Wire Graphics
Allows you to customize the list of graphic families available to be used for wires on the riser diagram.
📄️ Export
Exports customization settings to an external .fbimc file. This file can be imported into other projects.
📄️ Import
Imports customization settings previously exported to a .fbimc file using the Customization→Export command.
