Wires

The Wires panel appears on the FireBIM Riser tab when you have a project open in Revit. It includes commands for drafting circuit wires on the riser diagram.

Commands

📄️ Path Auto Draw

Automatically redraws a wire with its default path and graphics on the riser diagram.

📄️ Path Manual Draw

Allows you to redraw wires on the riser diagram.

📄️ Path Swap

Allows you to transpose two parallel circuit segments on the riser diagram.

📄️ Segment Move

Allows you to move circuit segments on the riser diagram. Any attached circuit segments will update automatically to stay connected.

📄️ Segment Insert

Allows you to add segments to a circuit on the riser diagram.

📄️ Segment Break

Allows you to insert a break in a circuit segment on the riser diagram. You can use this command to add bends to a circuit.

📄️ Segment Offset

Allows you to set the distance between and ordering of parallel circuit segments on the riser diagram.

📄️ Segment Align

Allows you to align parallel circuit segments on the riser diagram.

📄️ Segment Trim/Extend

Allows you to connect two disconnected, non-parallel circuit segments on the riser diagram, similar to the Revit Trim/Extend to Corner command.

📄️ Segment Delete

Allows you to remove a circuit segment from the riser diagram. When possible, the remaining segments of the circuit will be joined automatically.
