Modifying a Panel

Set information used in calculations on the fire alarm control unit.

Start in the FIRST FLOOR FP plan view.

The tutorial project has been configured to use milliamps for current in the Revit Project Units command; therefore, the load values specified in this section are in milliamps. When using FireBIM in your own projects, if they are set to use amps, you will need to enter load values in amps.

Modify the Fire Alarm Control Unit

1. Select FACU on the plan view and run the FireBIM Design→  Panel Edit command. The Panel Edit dialog box will open with FACU active.

2. In the Loads section, press the button to add a new row to the Instance table, then enter the following values:

   1. Set Name to Main Circuit Board.
   2. Set Standby Load to 170.
   3. Set Alarm Load to 360.
   4. Set Quantity to 1.

3. Repeat step 2 to create the following rows:

   Name	Standby Load	Alarm Load	Quantity
   Zone Expander	10	10	1
   Relay Module	0	220	1

4. Press the button to close the dialog box.
