Inserting Panels

Insert the fire alarm control unit and annunciator from the Revit model onto the riser diagram.

Start in the RISER DIAGRAM drafting view.

Insert FACU from the Model​

  1. Run the FireBIM Riser→  Panel Insert command. The Insert Panel dialog box will open.

  2. Set Tree ☰ to FACU.

  3. Set Riser Diagram Graphic ☰ to Panel, Fed From Top.

  4. Press the button to close the dialog box.

  5. Insert the control unit on the drafting view.

Optionally, you can select the control unit on the drafting view, then use the grips provided to modify its dimensions.

Insert ANN from the Model​

  1. Run the FireBIM Riser→  Panel Insert command. The Insert Panel dialog box will open.

  2. Set Tree ☰ to ANN.

  3. Set Riser Diagram Graphic ☰ to Panel, Fed From Top.

  4. Press the button to close the dialog box.

  5. Insert the annunciator below FACU on the drafting view. A circuit connecting it to FACU will be drawn automatically.

Optionally, you can select the control unit on the drafting view, then use the grips provided to modify its dimensions.
