Updating AeroBIM

This section describes how to install updates to AeroBIM.

Download and run the latest AeroBIM installer.

warning

Close Revit before you run the installer.

Updates to the MCP will be applied the next time you start a new AI agent session.

Your license will remain the same. You do not need to install or update the license when you update the software.

AeroBIM 1.0 — November 3, 2026

The following is the list of Revit functions the MCP can access in AeroBIM 1.0.

• General Revit functions, such as viewing and making changes to parameters, views and sheets, schedules, annotations, and project files and settings.
• Placing and modifying ductwork and piping.
• Viewing and editing duct and pipe settings such as system types, size tables, and routing preferences.
• Viewing Revit-calculated values for duct and pipe systems and MEP spaces.
