Draw Tick Marks

The Draw Tick Marks command is used to update the tick marks on existing loops on the drawing. The new tick marks will account for any changes made to the path of the loops by adding or removing loops manually.

To draw tick marks on existing loops, go to
Ribbon: DM Electrical→Circuiting and Homeruns→  Draw Tick Marks
Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical→Circuiting and Homeruns→Draw Tick Marks

You will be prompted to select a device on the circuit where tick marks are to be updated.

Select device on circuit:

The tick marks on the loops connected to the selected device will be updated.

Related Options

Hot or neutral first: Sets whether the hot or neutral tick marks are drawn closer to the homerun arrowhead.

Ground location: Sets whether the ground tick mark is inserted closest to or furthest from the homerun arrowhead.

Display tick marks on loops: Sets whether tick marks are displayed on loops.

Tick Mark Blocks options: Set the blocks used for tick marks and the space between tick marks.
