Distribution Equipment Schedule Types

There are three different types of distribution equipment schedules available. Each type consists of a header block, a footer block, and one or more phase blocks. When a schedule is inserted, these blocks are inserted on the drawing to create the schedule.

The header block is inserted at the top of the schedule. It typically lists the equipment name and the relevant attributes of the equipment, such as the voltage and bus amps.

The footer block is inserted at the bottom of the schedule. It typically includes all of the load totals. These can include totals by phase and the connected and calculated loads by load type.

All schedules have different blocks that are used for single-phase and three-phase distribution equipment. Typically, the only difference is that the single-phase schedules do not list any C-phase loads.

  •  Odd on Left, Even on Right ☰ This schedule type is intended for use with panels. The odd circuits are listed on the left side of the schedule and the even circuits are listed on the right. This schedule type has a phase block for each phase of the schedule. Each phase block should include attributes for two circuits, one from the odd side of the panel and one from the even side.

  •  Odd on Top, Even on Bottom ☰ This schedule type is intended for use with panels. The odd circuits are listed above the even circuits. This schedule type has a phase block for each phase of the schedule. A block is also inserted between the last odd block and the first even block. Each phase block should include attributes for only one circuit. The phase block will be used both above and below the divider for the odd and even circuits.

  •  Taps ☰ This schedule type is intended for use with distribution equipment that is not a panel. This schedule type only has one phase block. One block is inserted for each tap.
